Under California privacy law, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.
Inner Outer Index does not sell personal information for money, and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. In the future, Inner Outer Index may use the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and audience features; if we do, that may be considered “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended. This page explains how to opt out, including if and when such advertising features become active.
Option 1: Email us. Send a request to contact pending with the subject line Privacy Opt-Out. Include the email address you used to take the assessment so we can identify your record. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe and confirm when complete.
Option 2: Use Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request under California law. GPC is supported in some browsers natively (such as Brave and Firefox with the right setting) and through extensions for others. You do not need to take any further action if GPC is enabled.
Note: Automated GPC handling is currently being deployed. For the most reliable opt-out, please use the email path above. This page will be updated when GPC signals are honored automatically.
If we enable advertising features such as the Meta Pixel, opting out will stop us from sharing your personal information with it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The Service itself will continue to function normally, and your Report remains accessible.
You may continue to see Inner Outer Index advertising on Meta platforms, but it will not be informed by your interactions with the Service.
You may designate an authorized agent to make this request on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof of authorization. We may also need to verify your identity directly before processing the request.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under California privacy law. Opting out does not change your access to the Service or the quality of the Report you receive.
